A place to keep minutia and idle irrelevancies

I was a bit surprised to see Mitchell reading a Colin McNeil Chopper comic in Being Human. I was more surprised at the time that no-one seemed to pick up on it (given how vociferously 2000AD fans pick up on references in other media). I was reminded of this having just been sorting through comics prior to a move and found probably the same collection he’s holding; Chopper: Song of the Surfer volume 2 (bagged with Judge Dredd The Megazine some point in 2008). Looks like he’s interrupted in the penultimate chapter (originally printed in prog 664). Reckon this screenshot was from the first episode of the second season of Being Human.
